Hi all,
Is there a way to stop end-users from copying and pasting cells contents? I
developed a spreadsheet for end-users in my office. When users copy a cell
and paste it into another cell, the formatting of the destination cell
changes according to that of the source cell (the fill colour, the borders,
font, etc). I explained to users that they can copy the contents of a cell
from the formula bar instead, (but this limits them to copying the contents
of ONE cell at a time), therefore, they continue to copy the cells
themselves. Becasue the spreadsheet is password protected, they can't restore
the cells formatting and it's me who have to periodically go through the
spreadsheet and fix it. Is there any other way around that?
I'm using Excel 2003. Many thanks
Tendresse
