Copy and Paste with hidden columns remaining hidden

Hi

I have a spreadsheet to distribute with a number of hidden columns with
calcualtions in that need to remain hidden.

This spreadsheet will then be broken down within each department and
distributed accordingly - and they will need to copy the required data from
their master to a template. They will not copy over heading rows as these to
contain calcualtions so it is purely the data under these inluding the
forumlas they need to paste.

My problem is when I copy from the master spreadsheet - with the columns
hidden as required and paste this into the template - it is not copying the
hidden columns and pasting this as well.

Please advise how I can get round this.

If you are just copying the data, could you not paste special Values? Then
the missing formulas would not matter

Unfortunatly not as they will have to add some information into the
spreadsheet and this will provide informations to display the resulting
calculations.

I am working on trying to write a macro to unprotect everthing copy it then
protect it again if all else fails but my coding isn't that strong.
