Copy and Paste Calendar Appointments

It would be really useful if you could copy and paste calendar appointments
from one calendar to another without sending meeting requests. I look after
several Managers diaries who often attend the same meetings. I have all
their calendars open on my screen and I have to retype the same appointments
into each of their calendars. I know I can send invites from one to another
but then they would wonder why they were getting the invites from someone who
isn't organising the meeting and they would be inundated with meeting
requests. Do you know if it is possible to copy and paste each appointment
from one calendar to another? Thanks

I copy and paste within a calendar. I don't know why you wouldn't be able to
do it between them. In the daily view, I click on the (usually blue) bar on
the right side of the appointment to select it, press Ctrl-C and then use
Ctrl-V to paste. To paste in a different calendar, I would make sure that
calendar had the focus (was the active window).

Well I never!!! In all my years of experience using outlook, I never knew
that! I'd been clicking on the 'centre of the appointment' to select it -
not the blue bar on the left hand side - and it's makes all the difference.
Many thanks for your help I can pass it onto all the people I work with now
to save us loads of time. Many thanks for your help.
