Copy Active Title Bar contents?

Hi Everyone )

Here's a challenge for you!

I'm looking for a way in which by pressing a HotKey combination, it will
copy the contents of the Active Title Bar (as in the text displayed on it) to
the clipboard, and can then be pasted elsewhere using the same hotkey
combination (or perhaps just the usual Paste hotkey). For example, on this
"New Question" Window, the Contents of the Active Title Bar is "New Question
- Windows Internet Explorer".

Many Thanks in advance for any reponses )

Not exactly the "hot Key" you want, But:
Press the "Print Scrn" key and then open Paint and Paste.
Then with the Paint "box" tool enclose the section of the title bar you want and choose copy.
This will then place just the selected section of the title bar on the clipboard.
Now you can paste that where ever you want.

Can easily be done through SnagIt.

I have the latest trial version 8.2.0 version. I tried it and get very good
results.
The options you can use are:

1. Text from Windows

Profile settings

Input - Region.

What you have to do is the select the region of your Title Bar. You have to
do it manually because otherwise there are many other options available to
capture text from Object, Window, Active Window, Fixed Region etc. You can
use Hot Key too and 100s of fine options are available.

Hope this help, let us know!
