Copied Profile problematic

I have copied a profile of a working user to create a new login
account. When I try to login using the copied profile, it cannot map
any of the network drives or download the profile from the specified
directory on the network. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Howdy!

What does your environment look like? Where did you copy the profile to?
How did you save the profile? You _need_ to use
Start->Settings->Control Panel->System->"Advanced"->"User Profiles" -
Settings and copy the profile to the new location.

cheers,

Florian

Hi Florian,

This is a 2003 environment and I am trying to load the profiles in
Citrix. I have a user who's profile comes up perfectly loading
everything form the network location. Therefore, I copied that users
profile data to a new directory. I then copied her actual user,
creating a new ID with her same permissions, member of settings, etc...
Now when I login with the new user ID that I created nothing loads
correctly. It tells me that it cannot map network drives and such.
When I load her ID that I copied from, everything still works. Your
assistance is greatly appreciated as my confusion is really high. As a
test I setup my new user as an admin and everything worked of course.
This makes me believe its an odd permissions issue, but I'm not sure.

Thanks!

Andrew
