Cookie problem

Since last night, I have had a problem in accessing myspace.com. Every time i
try to load it, it says:

The page isn't redirecting properly.

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this
address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.

I have tried altering the settings of my cookies, and they have had som
effect - they have let me onto the login section, but even then when I try to
login it wont let me. It takes me to the sign up section...

Anyone know what I should do?

It is odd as it is only affecting that one website, Myspace.

PLEASSSE try to help, it would be much appreciated if someone knew what is
best to do =)

Thankyou, in advance,
Daniel Round.

I am having this same exact problem with my myspace as well right now. I've tried absolutely everything, and nothing seems to be working!
Have you gotten any feedback on this? If so, please let me know.

This goes for others as well..

It's very strange...

maybe it's a bug or some kind of virus on our comps?

I've no idea.
I've enabled cookies on all sites as well many times in hopes of it allowing
myspace to work..but no luck.

yeah, let's just wait and see what others have to say about our dilemma!

well have to se what the pros say haha.

i doubt its a bug since its a web based problem, and all other sites work
ok...

I have the same problem accessing myspace. The strange thing is that
it happens on multiple machines, but only with my login. Others can
log into their page from the same computer that I cannot. I have tried
both IE7 and Firefox. I have cleared cookies and browsing histories
multiple times to no avail. I am searching the web to see if I can
find a solution. Will keep you posted.

i don't think it would really make a difference.
I have mozilla and IE and myspace doesn;t work on either, so it's definitely
a universal thing... i really am baffled!

A number of personal pages on the social networking site MySpace.com were
attacked over the weekend using a security flaw in Macromedia Flash -- a flaw
that Adobe released a patch to fix just last week. The worm spreads each time
a MySpace user visits an infected user-profile page.

MySpace sent out a notice to all of its users late yesterday, saying the
worm only appears to have affected people with vulnerable Flash players. Last
week, Security Fix urged readers to upgrade their players to v. 9.0, noting
that Adobe had fixed a flaw which could let bad guys hijack your browser if
you were to merely browse a Web site that exploits the vulnerability. The
Adobe update fixes the vulnerability in The patch fixes the vulnerability
Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape and Opera.

I just installed Adobe 9.0, but it's still not letting me get on myspace

ACTUALLY, daniele........
never mind that last post.

that occured on July 17 of last year.
I forgot to read the date of the article, so disregard that whole Adobe
Flash issue.
My mistake!

Looks like we still haven't found the reason for this damned malfunction...

again, someone who could help us out and give us some info -- please do.

TO ELLENDA --

so you're saying that on other people's computers your account will not log
in either?

My friend tried logging on to my account through her comp and it didn't
allow her to. It just took her back to the log-in page.
So it seems as though something is wrong with my account, not my computer.

Do you think that maybe this is a problem on MySpace's end?

...and have you received any info yet, btw?

Sorry, no help here either but I am having the same problems. Myspace has yet
to respond to my TWO requests for assistance...
