Yes, but ....
There are a few that work well on higher end machines. Since you are in a
graphics processing business, I will assume you run at least one monster
machine with lots of RAM and lots of CPU cycles to spare.
So, start by looking over the links on this page (
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00156.htm ). Then download some software that
gives you a free trial period. Convert one of the presentations you have.
Build a kick-butt presentation and try that, too. If you find one that
renders to your satisfaction -- great. Be aware that video results between
machines and softwares run the full scale from good quality to incredibly
choppy.
Since you may already have the hardware in-house, you may want to try the
best method for capturing presentations. That would be to run the
presentation on a very good machine and capture the screen output on a DVR.
Then it is just a mater of converting the DVR files to DVD format and
burning the disk. Since most private users do not have access to high
quality DVR's this is not a cost effective solution for the masses, but for
your company, it may be the way to go.
Personally, I prefer the Camtasia software by Tech-Smith. I've found it to
be easy to use, has a wide range of options, an intuitive interface, and
very high quality output. But of course, this is just my opinion, you will
want to form your own via experience.
