Anyone have or know of a program that will allow you to convert your PPT file
so that your music and slide show can be played on a TV using a DVD with out
interferring with the slide transitions????

Yes, but ....

There are a few that work well on higher end machines. Since you are in a
graphics processing business, I will assume you run at least one monster
machine with lots of RAM and lots of CPU cycles to spare.

So, start by looking over the links on this page (
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00156.htm ). Then download some software that
gives you a free trial period. Convert one of the presentations you have.
Build a kick-butt presentation and try that, too. If you find one that
renders to your satisfaction -- great. Be aware that video results between
machines and softwares run the full scale from good quality to incredibly
choppy.

Since you may already have the hardware in-house, you may want to try the
best method for capturing presentations. That would be to run the
presentation on a very good machine and capture the screen output on a DVR.
Then it is just a mater of converting the DVR files to DVD format and
burning the disk. Since most private users do not have access to high
quality DVR's this is not a cost effective solution for the masses, but for
your company, it may be the way to go.

Personally, I prefer the Camtasia software by Tech-Smith. I've found it to
be easy to use, has a wide range of options, an intuitive interface, and
very high quality output. But of course, this is just my opinion, you will
want to form your own via experience.

Hi, cmleader

Maybe you mean to take a PowerPoint file to a DVD so that you can view
it on TV with a dvd player. If it is, there is some information for
you.

The common and easy pratice is to convert a PowerPoint file to a video
file by a conversion software and then burn the converted video file to
a DVD with a DVD burner.
You can have a look at this program PPT2DVD
http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/

Something special with PPT2DVD
1. You can create DVD menus for the video movies so that you control
the video playback with a remote.
2. It has a built-in burning program.

Since you are very concerned about the slide transition, this program
can support
this kind of conversion. For more details,
http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/ppt2dvd/featurelist.html

Please be noticed TV screen and computer screen has different types of
resolution so the video output maybe quite different. So check up
first.
