Converting protected files

I need to find out how to convert protected files to non-protected files. I
have been transfering my CD's to my computer so I can use an MP3 player, over
half of them were tranfered using the protect contents by mistake. Will I
have to start over and re-download them or is there a way to change the file
settings.

The only legal way to strip DRM from files is to burn them to a CD, and then rip
that CD in the file format of your choice.

There was over 200 reviews at Amazon.com slamming Sony and their
infamousness copy protection mal-ware.

The public has won round one, but Sony hasn't learned its lesson and
they aren't contrite about it either.

Be ware Sony wants to control how you listen to your music they want to
control everything about it. The only way they are going to learn is
how you vote with your pocketbook this holiday season - keep that in
mind when you are buying presents.

Don't buy Sony unless you have to.

Sony = Greed

Sony = corporate manipulation out of control
