converting powerpoint animation to pdf

hi, i'm using acrobat professional 8.0 to convert a powerpoint 2007 into a
pdf. in the power point I have video playing with animated subtitles. when
converted, the video plays on click but no words appear. I'd greatly
appreciate help

First, let me applaud you for including subtitles for your movie!
Second, the bad news. If you created your subtitles using PowerPoint
animations they don't translate to PDF files, even in the newest versions of
Adobe (although I freely admit I haven't tried Acrobat 8 yet). Basically,
you're going to have to recreate the subtitles and use Acrobat to include
them.

If your movie is a wmv file, you'll need to create a SAMI file of your
subtitles, which is actually easier than doing it with PowerPoint animations.
