Converting "from" a movie maker file to something else...

Hey guys!

I need to convert a .MSWMM file into something that will play on Windows
Media Player or Real Player. My psychology project was created on Movie
Maker, but all it is is a recording. We did a sort of "radio interview"...so
it isn't video or a video clip...Just sound.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

The .mswmm file is your project file. If you
reopen it and go to...File / Save Movie File
or type...Ctrl / P...you can save in a format
that will play in Windows Media Player.

Click "file" then "Save movie file" click how you want to save it, presumibly
on your computer then click next. Then you wait for it to finish and you are
done, when you click on the file you made it will open with your defalt
player.

When I do this, I get the file .mswmm. Are you using Movie Maker or Movie
Maker 2? We have a class projects that we would like to put on the web.

..mswmm is the format you get when you go to...
Save Project As...(this is a project file...not a
finished movie)

To create a finished .wmv movie file...go to...
File / Save Movie File...

And if you would like to save in the .avi format...
read the following article:

How do I save my movie as a
DV-AVI file in Movie Maker?
