Converting 2007 to 2007??

I have developed a Workbook in 2007 that uses the IRibbonUI extensively to
provide a workflow through the 40 sheets. The ribbon is a 'start from
scratch' and I also lock the user out of 'PLY' right-clicks.

I have been asked to determine the feasibility of converting this Workbook
so that it will run in Excel 2003 and was wondering if there is a website
you know of that would give me some insight as to what I have to do. Ron de
Brun goes from 2003 to 2007. I need to reverse that.

Thanks for your assistance.

The "Ribbon" is encoded in XML and as you know is particular to Office
2007.
Toolbars and Menubars are both forms of Commandbars in previous versions
of
Excel.

I know of no means to convert your ribbons to Commandbars, but coding
Commandbars is not difficult. I believe I got started with them by
reading
John Walkenbach's book Excel 2003 Power Programming in vba. It has been
updated with a 2007 version which may have some clues to help you. I
believe
he also provides some examples online. http://spreadsheetpage.com

Other great resources are Chuck Peason at www.cpeason.com, and Rodney's
wonderful page at http://www.beyondtechnology.com/. My appologies to the
myriad others who deserve mention.
