Converting 2007 Document (.docx) into older Word Document (.doc)

How would I go about converting my 2007 Office Home and Student Windows
documents to be compatible w/the older Windows software. When I create a
document it has the ext of .docx. Not many people can view it. I need to
change my document ext to .doc to accomodate other peoples older software.
How would I go about doing that?

You've posted your question in the Access newsgroup which is about databases.
But for your info try clicking the officebutton and choose save as where you
can choose the older version you would like it to save it to. Microsoft also
has compatibility add ins for 2003 that make it possible to open docx files.
