Convert wmf files?

I'm trying to add clipart files from the Microsoft website to my home page,
but my Yahoo geocities only accepts .gif, .jpg, and .html files, whereas
everything on the website is in wmf. How do I convert these?

Dear User,
You can search for a wmf to jpeg/gif/jpg converter in www.google.com and get
your desired software and download it.
Hope this will help you.

Since your message appears in a PowerPoint group, I'll mention this:

You can use Insert, Picture, From File to bring WMFs into PowerPoint.
Then size them to fill the slide
Then File, Save As, choose JPG or whatever you like for the "Save file as" type
and save the file off to an image format.

I thought about doing this, but will it then be harder to use on my website
(btw, yes I should have posted this in the clipart section), i.e. will it
expand the image size beyond the borders of the original clipart so when I
paste in on the website blank areas will overlap on the rest of it?

Aha, you've tried it already. Good. <g>

To get around that problem you can do one of two things:

1) Work out the proportions of the clip art and set your slide dimensions to
something proportional, then scale the clip to fill the slide before exporting or
...

2) Export with the extra borders, open the exported image in MS Photo Editor or any
image editor you like and crop off the excess.

Or try this:

Select the clip art
Choose Edit, Copy
Choose Edit, Paste Special, as PNG
Select the just-pasted in PNG
Choose Edit, Copy
Switch to Photo Editor and choose Edit, Paste as new image
Save. Voila.

Or this if you're in PPT 2003 (and maybe 2002, I forget):

Rightclick the clip art
Choose Save As Picture
Choose your format and save
