How do you convert or save a word document to a picture
(preferable gif or jpeg). Or of you know or any programs
that do this please let me know? Thanks

You can probably use your fax software, or you could use a capture program
such as the excellent SnagIt which has a 'printer' driver that will produce
graphics output in just about any format you can shake a stick at -
including jpg and gif. SnagIt is linked from the favourites page of my web
site.

You can convert it to a graphic (probably TIFF) by faxing it. Beyond that,
you can copy an entire page (which won't include the header/footer) and
Paste Special as Picture, then save the document as a Web page, which will
split the graphics out as GIFs or JPEGs. For what you want, however, your
best bet is a screen capture utility such as SnagIt. Not only can you get
screen captures, but you can "print" to the SnagIt "printer," which converts
Word pages to graphics in the desired format.
