Convert message to appointment without user action

How can I get incoming standard e-mail messages converted into a calendar
appointment automatically? I know that I can manually drag them from the
inbox to the calendar for this, but I want it accomplished as soon as they
arrive and without my input. Okay, maybe I'm willing to click a toolbar
button to process them all once a day. Will it require a script or macro or
can it be accomplished with Outlook 2007 out of the box? How?

Yes, that would require writing code. You might start with the example at
http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx?id=959 that shows how to create
tasks from messages with a "run a script" rule. Creating appointments would
follow a similar process. If you have questions on VBA code, please follow up
in the microsoft.public. outlook.program_vba newsgroup.
