Convert DV AVI file (created in Movie Maker) to a DVD file

I created a slideshow in Windows Movie Maker and saved as a DV AVI file (on a
DVD). Unfortunately, my DVD player does not recognize this file. How do I
convert it to a file compatible with a DVD player?

The file needs to be burned as a movie to the DVD using a
program such as Nero, Ulead's Video Studio or Roxio's DVD
creator. Depending on the version of WMM you are using (and
you didn't specify) there may be that capability there also,
although I only use WMM 2.1 in Windows XP Home or Pro, which
does not allow burning directly to a DVD.

See Other Editors and Making Discs... located in the left
column at www.papajohn.org for a lot more information.
