Convert a NTFS5 partition in NTFS4

Marco

Hi,

I need to convert a NTFS5 partition in NTFS4, I looked on Bootpart
(www.winimage.com/bootpart.htm) but I need more help.

I have:

PC1 with:

Hard disk 1
Partition C = NTFS5 > Windows Xp Pro
Partition D = NTFS5
Partition E = NTFS5
Partition F = NTFS5

Hard disk 2
Partition G = NTFS5 > Windows NT 4.0 Sp.6
Partition H = NTFS5
Partition I = NTFS5
Partition J = NTFS5

All partitions on Hard disk 2 was originally NTFS4 and was
converted by Xp in NTFS5 after installing.

I can run NT 4 disabling Hard disk 1 from Bios and every
things works good except I can not run Defrag (Diskeeper)
or chkdsk when I am in NT 4, but it is not a big problem
because I use NT 4 very rarely and I can defrag all
partitions of Hard disk 2 when I am in Xp.

I have also:

PC2 with:

Hard disk 1
Partition C = FAT32 > ex Windows 98 now NT 4.0 Sp.6
Partition D = FAT32 > to be formatted and converted in NTFS4

Hard disk 2
Partition E = FAT16
Partition F = FAT16

My problem is that I have restored a disk image (with Drive
Image) of PC1-Partition G on PC2-Partition C (ex Windows 98)
to run NT 4 on PC2.
Every things works good except I can not run Defrag (Diskeeper)
or chkdsk because Diskeeper installed on NT 4 do not support
NTFS5.

The question: how can I convert a NTFS5 partition in NTFS4?

Thank for any feedback.

Sorry for my english.

Marco

Greetings --

The only way to convert to an older version of NTFS would be to
remove the hard drive from the machine with WinXP, delete the existing
partitions, and create and format new partitions using WinNT's setup
routines.

I guess I should have specifically stated "using native Windows
