I made a movie with no problems, plays in movie maker no problem. I publish
it as a WMV file. When it plays in windows media player the colors are all
messed up?
What do I need to change.

Hi Thanks for the help.. I am a computer idiot... I used my Creative web cam
program to create the files. ...all my drivers are up to date...even if i
play the file in DIVX the colors are all messed up. In the movie properties
it says it is an AVI..when i publish i create it as a windows media dvd
quality and also tried the best quality for my computer selection... they
work the same.
when i play the movie in window movie maker it works fine.
Any other suggestions???

Use avicodec or Gspot to find out which codec was used to make your avi
file, then see if you have that codec installed on your pc.

WARNING - do not install a codec pack, find just the one you need.

If the file is any other type of avi than dv.avi - IT WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY
in movie maker.
