Does anyone know of a way to convert *.QIF or *.QFX files (from the bank) to excel?

Thanks

OP might not have Quicken installed.

My bank gives me the choice of downloading records to Quicken or Excel among
others.

Sounds like OP's bank may just offer download to Quicken and produced those QIF
and QFX files.

Fair enough. It's just so foreign to me to talk about balancing a bank
account in Excel. You can buy Quicken for less than $30 on eBay. Even though
I'm pretty good at Excel, I would never use it for financial software. The
alternatives are just so good and so cheap.

Fred.

Good point Fred.

I let my bank do all that stuff for me.

When I run out they add more at some exorbitant rate.

My kids are begging to be taken out of my Will.

They couldn't afford the payments<g>
