Conversion from 97 to 2003 - reference to DSGBASE.MDA and UTIL_97.

This is my first conversion. When I convert the database, it cannot find the
following files DSGBASE.MDA and UTIL_97.MDB.

On my NT desktop, these files exist until Office 97. Are there equivalents
under Office 2003.

P.S. New to Access as well.

You may not need them (certainly, Util_97.MDB probably isn't required).

Open the VB Editor and select Tools | References from the menu bar. Uncheck
the references to those files (they should both have "MISSING:" in front of
them). Close the References dialog, then select the Compile option under the
Debug menu.

If your application compiles successfully, you don't need the references you
removed.
