Controltip Text not displaying

Hi all,

I'm having problems with my Controltip Text. It will not display on any
control. I have checked to make sure that everything is brought to the
front. I have experimented with several controls just to see if I can get it
to work anywhere and it does not.

Anyone have any idea's. I would appreciate some insight.

Shane, Did you ever get any help with this? I am having the same problem on
my form. It doesn't have any frames or rectangles or anything, but I tried
the Send to Front trick anyway, and it did not help me, either. I saw that
someone else was having trouble in December with this, and someone was going
to look at it offline. Any help there?

No, no help yet. Wierd thing is... I can zip up my DB and send to my office
and it will work on several computers there. I guess we can agree to let
each other know if we come across anything.

No, I never did. I assume it has something to do with either hotfixes, or
other versioning issues, or something in the registry, but I never found any
answer, and I just gave up. I ended up putting my "tool tip" in the status
bar instead.

Thank you for replying.

I am going to place a call with Microsoft so will let you know the outcome.

I know it is a trivial issue but I instal and train clients and the
ControlTip Text is useful in as much as it stops users from pressing buttons
just to see what they do.
