Controls Misalign when resizing form or minimizing ribbon

I am having an issue with a form in Access 2007. When I minimize the ribbon, the controls on the form will get out of alignment and some will turn transparent. So, I end up with controls on top of one another and in various other positions on the screen. If I maximize the ribbon, the controls go back to their intended positions.

Any ideas on what is causing this?
