Control Panel

Control panel does not respond. After I click on control
panel. I get the hour glass and then it goes back to
desktop start. Any suggestions. I have restored. But
there is no restoration to take place. I have also
performed all diagnostics. Help

Try opening Control panel in Safe Mode - if it opens then there is a
conflict with other Win start up items. Use Start/run/msconfig to find out
where the problem is. If it did not open in Safe Mode try running sfc
/scannow at the command prompt to fix any critical file problems - have your
Win OS CD to hand since you will be prompted for it..
