Continuous music play with presentation

I have a 10 slide presentation with music playing. I want the music to play
continuously throughout the presentation, but the song restarts with each new
slide. Please help....THANKS

"The song restarts each slide"

Have you inserted it on to every slide or maybe onto the master?

Just insert it once onto the first slide and in custom animation double
click on the entry for the song (may say media1) and in "effects" tick "stop
playing after (10) slides
