Contextual Menu in Windows Explorer Window

The system folder C:\MyFolder\testfolder has in its menu the tabs File,
Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help. I would like to hide the tab Favorites,
and bring it back when needed.
Any idea how I can hide the Favorites tab.
thanks

Hit F11. Then hit F11 again.

Hide Favorites menu
Group Policy\User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows
Components\Internet Explorer\Browser menus

I am not talking about the internet explorer windows but about the windows
system folders. I have hitted two times F11 but this it does not work as you
explained.

In Full Screen you have the option to show or hide the Menu Bar, that option
is not available in a Normal or Maximized window.

F11 should get Full Screen in both Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer or
any folder. The F11 key toggles between Full Screen mode and a Normal or
Maximized window. Usually in Full Screen the Menu Bar, the Address Bar and
Links do not appear, but can be added. Right click the top Toolbar and
Select Menu Bar, Address Bar or Links.

Alt + V + T will also open the Toolbars menu where you can add or remove the
Menu Bar, the Address Bar and Links. Alt + V + T + M toggles the Menu Bar.
Alt + V + T + A toggles the Address Bar. Alt + V + L toggles Links.

If Auto-Hide is Selected, moving the cursor to the top of the window should
display the Toolbar. Move the cursor to the top, right click the Toolbar
and UNSelect Auto-Hide.

Alt + V will open the View menu where you can point to Toolbars and UNSelect
Auto-Hide. Alt + V + T + H will toggle Auto-Hide on and off.

In Internet Explorer, but not Windows Explorer, Alt + V will open the View
menu where you can UNSelect Full Screen. Alt + V + F will also toggle Full
Screen in IE.

NoFavorites
HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions
only affects IE not WE. I just tried it. Probably the same for
HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions

Any system folder C:\MyFolder\testfolder (for instance) can be opened in a
Windows Explorer Normal window - so I am using the Normal mode, not the Full
Screen mode. A system window in normal mode has on top of its Toolbars menu
a plain Menu bar with the tabs File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help. I
would like to hide the tab Favorites (and bring it back when needed).
I tried all the tricks you told me (Alt + V + ... ) but that only works on
the Toolbars menu, not on the plain menu. The instructions you've given me
do not help me any further.
Any other suggestions?
thanks

As far as I know you cannot remove Favorites from the Menu Bar in Windows
Explorer.
