Content of Webpage- What should I add ?

Hi,

I am at a loss to know what type of content I should put in my web page
that will attract interest and lead to more purchases. I have my design
pretty much set up. But next comes the "content" or text, links, etc. I
don't know where to begin, can I have some help, my site is a "resume'
website. at equaljob.com

I just don't know what to put on each page or whether to delete some pages,
what makes good content. thankyou,

That's a pretty difficult question to answer.
It's your web site, so you must have had an idea in mind what you were building it for when
you started.

Have you tried getting ideas from other resume sites??

You should put what you are selling on your site.....it's really a general
question and since the site will be 'unique' to you, only you should know
what you want to put on the site.

Since your site is a resume site, I assume you're selling/providing a
service to generate resumes, users ordering through the site, and you type
up their resume and send it to them?

Therefore some links to include might be things like interview techniques,
and other sorts of employment/job search type sites.

Of course you don't want too many, or in the wrong places on your site,
since you want people to use *your* site, not just click some link and go
somewhere else.

So, I might suggest you put the external links say, on your order form's
thank you page (if you use forms), in that it says "Thank you for your
Order" and also lists some other sites to do with jobsearching and interview
techniques, or if you have that sort of thing on your own site, direct them
back to those pages.
