contacts

can anyone tell me if i can add a journal entry or task
to multiple contacts. i've tried selecting the relevant
contacts and then add journal entry but this only adds
the entry to the first contact in the list. any ideas?

Open the journal entry or task and at the bottom, in the Contacts box, type
the name or select the contacts you want to associate the journal entry or
task with.

Hi Sue thanks for your reply. i'm not sure this is the
answer because i tried this but found that this then
shows all the seperate journal entiries on every contact
listed. what i would like to do is have the same journal
entry linked to each selected contact independant of the
other contacts. not sure if this makes any sense?

further update, i was trying do carry out this task by
opening a contact and then adding a journal entry. if i
then select contacts from this window it adds all the
entries to each contact. i have now tried the same
exercise but from the Journal application. BUT when i try
to select multiple contacts from the list none are added
to the contacts pane in the journal entry window, any
ideas?
