Contacts

I want to know if I can copy contacts from old Outlook files if I did not
first export them. I screwed up my network at home and can no longer log
onto my old profile - I have access to all the files, but don't know how to
get back to Outlook as it was to export the contacts.
I have another computer I've installed Outlook 2007 on and would like to
import my contacts. Is there a way?

Exporting and importing Outlook data is never recommended. Since you said
you had access to your old data file, just open that file in your current
installation Outlook to access the information. It's not difficult:
File > Open > Outlook Data File...

I did do that -- and now I see after clicking on 'contacts' there they are.
For some reason I was still focused on Personal Folders in the mail view.
Thanks.

Outlook 2003 and 2007 both use the Navigation Pane to clean up the user
interface. It also does a nice job of hiding the data we need and are used
to seeing. At least it looks nice.
