Contacts not opening after sending through POP3

MM

Hello,

I recently sent some contacts (created a new mail message and
'drag-n'dropped' the contacts into it) from my work PC (outlook 2000
client and Exchange 2000 server) to my internet POP3 account which I
access via an outlook 2003 client at home.

After retrieving the email with the attached contacts at home from the
POP3 account, none of them open correctly, the contacts just open as a
mail message with the contact name as the subject.

If I forward the email with the attached contacts from the POP3 account
to an email account back at work then the contacts are attached in the
email but as 2 files, one called unnamed.msg with a one line RFC header
in and another called unnamed with about 20 lines of random text.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the contacts with details back
or are they lost for good?

Many thanks,
Matt.

YOu probably need to force Outlook Rich Text on the messages to preserve the
formatting. right click on the addressee and select properties - check the
box for RTF.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
