constantly loosing connection

Two computers setup with shared internet connection, mine is the host, and
the other pc is the one that constantly looses its connection.

Shared resourses are still available as well as the actual connection
ofcourse, but whenever My pc is shutdown or restarted the other pc's
internet connection is nolonger available to it. (after mine has restarted
that is). The only way I have been able to resolve this is by going to
(view network connections and doing repair) or by restarting the other pc.

Why does it always loose its connection (to the web) and how can this be
resolved.

My appologies for not better explaining the current situation.
The links you provided are (from a quick glance) mainly for Wireless
connections and such.
The two computers ive networkded are connected by a crossover cable.
now if your links still apply just let me know.
