Constant booting (2)

Hi Jimmy
Thanks so much for your tips and help.
Made the speed test and the results were normal.
DLed the TCP Optimizer and didnt notice any improvement.
Im still under the same "regime": 10/20 minutes in a Zone
Backgammon room, playing or not and... PAFF! BOOTED!
The sympthome is equal: I lose my room connection
(exiting) but I remain online - can check it through
Messenger or other internet programs which are still
running and dont stop or exit.
I didnt try any of your other tips.
Reading them I could suspect that it could be a specific
problem with the Network Card.
Is this a reasonable conclusion? Should I ask my tech
assistance to change it?
Again, thank you for your help and pacience
Best wishes :)

Hi AJB,

As Chris said, eliminate the other possibilities by testing them first,
and then keep that list handy for when you contact your tech.

If the problem persists, then you might have to replace the wiring
you're using, the network adapter, the ISP supplied modem, or
personal router you may have installed. Have your Internet
Provider run several tests on your connection to check for tolerance,
as games require a consistent connection otherwise you time out.

| troubleshooting with your system. Only you can do that hands-on. Keep at
| it, eliminate possibilities, and start that by checking the various
| hardware - such as the NIC - to see if there are no drivers available.
