Hi,

I have two computers at home. Say A and B networked together. A has Win XP
Pro. B has Win98. Both have been networked. A has a ADSL connection. My
question :

Is it possible for someone to log onto A via dialup? If so then how....?
Moreover, after logging on, would it be possible for him to use the net via
the DUN? If so, what are the procedures?

Thanks.

Hi, Atif -

I'm afraid the short answer is that what you're trying to
accomplish isn't possible with the tools provided with
Windows XP. I'm not sure about any third-part products.

I'm not sure you'd see any speed advantage dialing into
an ADSL connection - the speed of the dialup machine's
connection would still be limited by its POTS modem.

Hope this helps -
