Connecting to Win2k from Mac OS 9.2

I can't seem to connect to Windows 2000 server from Mac OS 9.2. I get to the
login screen ok, but when I put in my AD credentials, I get a momementary
freeze, and then the message "The connection to this server has been
unexpectedly broken." It seems to be related to protocol, as I can connect
fine using straight AppleTalk. The problem occurs when I attempt to connect
using TCP/IP. I would generally suspect it is a problem on the Mac side, but
interestingly enough, these same OS 9.2 Macs can connect to a Windows 2003
server over TCP/IP just fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

I can't think of any settings (server or Mac) that could result in the
symptoms you're seeing so I would suspect that you may have a corrupt or
old NIC driver on your server or you have a network switch between your
Macs and the server that's causing problems.

Do your event logs on the server show give you any indication?
