Connecting to C$ and admin$ shares

Hi

I have a couple of machines that I cannot connect to the admin shares on.
I'm trying to do an install of SAV to these machines and continually get a
password prompt and cannot get in. On other machines I do not have this
problem.

The machines I can install to I can map to C$ and do not get prompted for a
password. On the troublesome machines I cannot map to this share even though
it does exist.

Any help appreciated

Any restrictions set on a domain/local policy that would prohibit access
from the network? Is the server service running on the workstation?

The server service is running and the computers are all members of a
workgroup. I think I might be onto something...."Quickfinder" might be the
cause of the problem as the machine I can access does not have Quickfinder
installed.
