connecting to a workgroup from a "Domain configured" PC

This should be a simple question (hopefully)

My work Laptop is configured with Windows WP Pro and is setup for my works
Domain. I want to be able to use my Laptop at home as well.
My home network is just set up as a Workgroup, rather than a domain. When I
try to browse my home workgroup from my work PC, nothing ever shows up on my
network neighborhood. But when I search for one of the devices on my
network, It finds it.

The problem is, when I try to open that device to access the shared folders,
I get a message saying that I don't have access. All my home PC's are setup
with no restrictions. All the devices on the WORKGROUP access each other no
problem. It is just my Work Laptop that is setup for my work domain that is
unable to browse.

Does anyone know if it is possible to access workgroup devices when windows
is set up for domain networking?

It is indeed possible to access the computers in your home workgroup. To view
them in Windows Explorer, look under Entire Network - Microsoft Windows Network.

What is the exact and full error you're getting which you paraphrase as "don't
have access"? Are your home computers running XP Home? XP Pro? Something
else?

Please provide ipconfig information for each computer, including the laptop, and
we'll diagnose the problem.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad, make sure that Format - Word Wrap is
NOT checked!, copy and paste entire contents into your next post. Identify
operating system (by name, version, and SP level) with each ipconfig listing.
