Connected but not connected!

Using Win XP, my network connections show the LAN connection as connected at
100 Mbps, but I cant get to the internet nor connect to my microsoft
server....

Both say I am disconnected, and if I want to work offline or try again...

I tried a different cable in a different location, and the same thing.

Ive tried ipconfig /release and /renew and nothing. Ive disabled the
connection and enabled, I even deleted the nic card from device manager and
reinstalled it... nothing works...

Please, this is on my bosses laptop and I need help...

Any advice fellow techies....

Same problem but mine happened when I set up a network and
it created a bridge between my connections. I deleted
that connection and now I have the problem. Also is your
computer seeing other computers on your network? That
hasn't worked ether since I created the network.

Someone please help us!!!!!!
