I need to connect two computers, one of them is a old computer ( 386 )
with windows 3.11 ( Ms-Dos ver 6. ), the another PC has Windows XP.
The old computer doesn’t have CD, only floppy disk. The new Pc has no
floppy.
I need to recover the data from the old Pc to the new .
I would like to try connect both PCs. Firstly I think it would be a good
idea using “interlnk†( a command from MS-dos ) whith a parallel cable; but
I think this command doesn’t work in windows XP ( I don’t know )
The question is :
Is possible to use “interlink†to connect both PCs ?. Are there some way
to emulate “interlink†in windows xp ?. If it is not possible How could I
connect both PCs to work one as “client†and the another as “server†?
Thanks
