Connect 2 Computers through Ethernet

I Own 2 Computers, both with Windows XP and both with one Ethernet Card.
If I Connect them through a network cable, Windows XP installs the network automatically so I don't have to do nothing in order to use it.?

Bueno, muchas gracias

You will have to run the new connection wizard and select
peer to peer networking...It is very straight forward.
The wizard will walk you through the setup but there is
some configuration needed

Make certain you use a "cross over" cable!
