confused about .net 2

Hi all

I'm trying to install SQLServer (2005 Beta 3) Express , but it told me to
remove the .net framework 2 beta.

Now its telling me to add .net framework 2 but I can't find it, and looking
at recent posts its not due out yet

has anyone come across this before
