confirmation page and security

If you use a hosting server for your website, like GoDaddy, how save is the
information people put in the form with receiving a confirmation page.

safe as to it being on a server, and hackers being able to get to other
peoples info that they gave you in a form.

If your host has security set up correctly, data in databases or the FP _private folder should be relatively "safe"
- nothing is 100% safe
Never store any critical data (such as credit card data) on any server

PS
GoDaddy has had server permission problems reported by other users
