Configure MSDE for netwok use

Hi everyone,

How do I configure MSDE on a network

I have installed access on all computer to use my ADP, as well as MSDE...

My question is how to I make all the adp of my app see the same database
that resides on a pc...

I looked at the article

But I am confused as to what to do in the part transfer the msde...

Do I go on the pc where the original mdf file is and do the transfer and
transfer it where....

and what do I do on the client pc's

This is only a problem of finding the right connection string. Take a look
at:

and:
http://www.connectionstrings.com/

Finally, if you don't want to use Windows Authentification only, you must
make sure that MSDE is configured to accept SQL login (or configured to be
in the mixed mode, same thing) :

I was also told that this procedure should work:
- msde should be on one machine we'll call it "MyServer"
- open your adp from a Client Machine
- Click on File/Connection
- Select or enter Server name type "MyServer" (no quotes)
- choose authentication method...depends on how you've set up msde
- Select A Database on the server Choose database name of the db
you've set up...
- click ok and you should see the tables
