I just got a new computer running XP. This app workoed p[erfectly when on the old Windows 2000 machine. I am now getting the following error:

Configuration Error
Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

Source Error:

Line 50: by Microsoft that offers a single logon and core profile services for member sites.
Line 51: -->
Line 52: <authentication mode="Windows" />
Line 53:
Line 54: <!-- AUTHORIZATION

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Have you (as the error suggests) checked that your application in IIS is
indeed configured to be an application and not just a virtual directory?
Applications have icons that look like a box with something in it, while
virtual dirs have an icon of a folder with a globe on it, and regular dirs
have just a normal folder icon.

If it's not an application, right click, select properties and click
"Create" on the Directory tab to create an application of it.
