Hello.

I can see that KB958644 replaces KB921883. Is there any known list of all
differences between these versions ?

We've noticed that Conficker infections are at least partially stopped by
KB921883, though correct version is KB958644. Due to an error, KB921883 has
been deployed in the company I work for, but KB958644 has not been deployed
yet.

We're curently preparing the potential trouble from Conficker by April, 1st,
and I'm trying to estimate the impact of KB958644 not being deployed to all
PCs yet.

Many thanks for your help,

Fred V.

Hello Fred:

Insure the successful installation of MS08-067 on all applicable systems
and disable Autorun at the very minimum.

Otherwise have excellent & updated antimalware going with all your
systems behind a NAT router. Otherwise have the automatic updates from
Microsoft turned on. You should be fine then.

Warm regards,

Pete

Hello Pete.

This is what we've done, but MS08-067 was only partially deployed before
"D-Day". It is now fully deployed, and all other measures were in place.

Many thanks for your response !
