Computers Near Me - No Icon

On my Windows 2000 machine, the icon for "Computers Near Me" is missing.
In its place is the standard Windows icon, but not the folder icon. When
I try to see Computer Near Me, the folder is empty.

The problem is not on the network. The other computers are all able to
see each other, and their Computers Near Me groups are normal. It has
been working normally until recently. I'm not aware of any software that
has been installed that could cause the problem. Anybody know how to
repair the problem? I can access all of the other computers by drilling
down though Entire Network | Microsoft Windows Network...
