Computer was cut off while i was running the repair process of the

I had been getting a stop error on my computer and i couldnt get in to
windows. So I started looking around on the internet I found in a couple of
places that i could just run the windows repair system off the xp cd. While
it was doing that right after it restarted for the first time to continue
fixing it. I accidently cut my computer off so now when I cut it back on
after the xp loading screen it just goes black where it should continue
fixing it. All i can do is move the mouse around. Is there a way to fix this
without loosing everything on my HDD.

Run the repair install again. If you haven't lost anything yet, it's
probably not going to make it worse.
