Computer shuts down by itself

I'm using Windows XP Pro. Periodically the computer
displays the following message and then shuts down
automatically:

This system is shutting down. Please save all work in
process and log off. Any unsaved changes will be lost.
The shutdown was authorized by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.

I would appreciate any information or suggestions on how
to solve this problem.
