John,
After your computer randomly restarts do you get a send error report
dialog? If so this means your system is crashing and your problem is
probably software/driver/os related. Please send the 5-10 most recent
minidumps located at c:\windows\minidump to (e-mail address removed) and I will
analyze the minidumps and get back to you on what might be causing your
system to crash.

If you do not receive this dialog please check if this feature is enable by
doing the following: Right Click on My computer -> Properties ->
Advanced -> Error Reporting -> Make sure Enable Error Reporting is selected
and Windows operating system is checked. If this is enabled your problem is
likely hardware oriented. I would look specifically at your CPU, make sure
it isn't overheating, all fans in your computer case are still spinning. I
hope this helps. Good luck,
