Computer reboots after printing

I have a workgroup with 4 computers, C1, C2, C3, C4. All are running WinXP
SP2

C1 has a HP LaserJet 5SI connected and is shared. It also has the latest HP
drivers.

On each computer, I have located the share (by browsing) and set as default
printer.

Lately, when printing from one computer, C4, it actually prints, then
reboots. I have reinstalled the drivers several times after removing the
printer (as per http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm) and
the computer prints for about an hour. Then it begins to reboot after every
print.

If any of the other computers, C1, C2 and C3 prints, it causes C4 to
reboot.

This is not limited to application. It happens on Excel, Word, Notepad,
Wordpad, and other applications I have written.

I feel sure this must be a network problem. I'm out of ideas now.

Could anyone help?

I'd suggest a possible overheating problem... have you check the motherboard
and CPU temperatures?

Thanks Cari,

MB/CPU temps at last reboot this morning were 104/116.
CPU P4 3.6ghz
MB Asus P5AD2-E

I don't consider 116 CPU as being that high. It is interesting that another
computer can cause this computer to reboot simply by printing.

Do you think it has something to do with this computer being confused
on the network with the computer that has the printer?
