computer not booting up

When booting up my computer. I get no power to the hard-
drives, no power to the monitor, just a complete black
screen. The only thing that has power is the 2 fans and
the cd-roms. Can someone please help, do you think my
mother board is burnt out?

Hi Amanda,

There are any number of problems that can cause the symptoms you are
experiencing. Unless you are confident in your abilities to diagnose
hardware problems and have the parts/tools necessary for such diagnosis I
can only recommend taking the PC to a qualified technician that you trust.
