computer hibernates

My computer goes into hibernate mode within minutes of
turning on. Will not come out with mouse movement nor
keyboard use. I have to shutoff and restart to get back
in. And again only for a couple of minutes.

XP on HP Pavillion 532W desktop.
No new software nor hardware added.
All updates for Windows and Norton installed.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Go to start \ control panel \ performance & maintenance \ power options \
hibernate tab & uncheck it. HTH
